I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sucking his tongue, or he said his lip, meaning Hasan bin Ali, may Allah's blessings be upon him. Surely a tongue or two lips that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ has sucked will never be punished.
رأيت رسول الله ﷺ يمص لسانه- أو قال: شفته، يعني الحسن بن علي صلوات الله عليه- وإنه لن يعذب لسان أو شفتان مصهما رسول الله ﷺ.
Ahmad narrated it (16848) from Hashim bin Qasim, who said, Hurayz (he is Ibn Uthman Rahbi) narrated to us, from Abdul-Rahman bin Abu Awf Jurashi, from Muawiya, and he related it. Its chain of transmission is sahih. Haythami said in Majma (9/177), "Ahmad narrated it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, except for Abdul-Rahman bin Abu Awf, and he is trustworthy."
