I came in upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while Hasan and Husayn were playing on his belly. I said, "Messenger of Allah, do you love them?"He replied, "Why would I not love them? They are my two sweet basils."

Bazzar narrated it (1078) from Abbad bin Yaqub, who said, Ali bin Hashim bin Bureid narrated to us, who said, Abdul-Rahman bin Abdullah bin Dinar narrated to us, from Abu Suhayl bin Malik (whose name was Nafi), from Saeed bin Musayab, from Saad bin Abu Waqqas, and he mentioned it.Haythami said in Majma (9/181), "Bazzar narrated it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih."Its chain is hasan because of Abbad bin Yaqub, who is Rawajini, Ali bin Hashim bin Bureid, and Abdul-Rahman bin Abdullah bin Dinar, for each of these narrates hasan hadith. The fact that Abbad bin Yaqub Rawajini and Ali bin Hashim bin Bureid are described as being Shia does not harm this, because it has a sahih corroborating witness.
