The Prophet ﷺ said, "Leave me as I have left you. What destroyed the People of the Book before you, or those who came before you, was their excessive disagreement with their prophets and their excessive questioning. So whatever I command you to do, follow it as much as you are able, and whatever I forbid you from, abandon it."

أن النبي ﷺ قال ذروني ما تركتكم فإنما أهلك أهل الكتاب قبلكم أو من كان قبلكم بكثرة اختلافهم على أنبيائهم وكثرة سؤالهم فانظروا ما أمرتكم به فاتبعوه ما استطعتم وما نهيتكم عنه فدعوه أو ذروه
