The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Four things from the practices of the age of ignorance remain in my community, and they will not abandon them: attacking one another's lineage, wailing over the dead, saying 'we were given rain by such and such a star,' and belief in contagion. A man buys a mangy camel, puts it among a hundred camels, and they all become mangy. So who gave the mange to the first one?"
