The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say, "Allah, I seek refuge in You from four things, from knowledge that brings no benefit, from a heart that does not feel awe, from a soul that is never satisfied, and from a supplication that is not heard."
حدثنا حجاج قال حدثنا ليث قال حدثني سعيد بن أبي سعيد عن أخيه عباد بن أبي سعيد أنه
كان رسول الله ﷺ يقول اللهم إني أعوذ بك من الأربع من علم لا ينفع ومن قلب لا يخشع ومن نفس لا تشبع ومن دعاء لا يسمع
Its chain of transmission is sahih. Abu Dawud narrated it, 2/92, no. 1548, in the book of seeking refuge, chapter of Witr, and Nasai, 8/263, no. 5467, in the book of seeking refuge, chapter of seeking refuge from a soul that is never satisfied, both with his wording. Ibn Majah also narrated it, 2/1261, no. 3837.
