A Jew in the market of Madinah swore, "By Him who chose Musa above all mankind!"A man from the Ansar struck him on the face and said, "You say this while the Messenger of Allah ﷺ is among us?"The Jew went to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and complained, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ recited, "And the trumpet will be blown, and everyone in the heavens and on the earth will fall senseless, except those whom Allah wills. Then it will be blown again, and at once they will be standing, looking on" [Zumar 39:68].Then he said, "I will be the first to raise his head, and there will be Musa, holding on to one of the pillars of the Throne. I do not know whether he raised his head before me, or whether he was among those whom Allah exempted. And whoever says that I am better than Yunus bin Matta has spoken falsely."
