Abu Hurairah reported,
The Messenger of ﷺ said, "Paradise and the Fire disputed with one another. The Fire said, 'The tyrants and the arrogant enter me.' Paradise said, 'The weak and the poor enter me.' So Allah 
said to the Fire, 'You are My punishment, through you I take vengeance on whomever I will.' And He said to Paradise, 'You are My mercy, through you I show mercy to whomever I will.'"

Sahihوبإسناده قال قال رسول ﷺ احتجت النار والجنة فقالت النار يدخلني الجبارون والمتكبرون وقالت الجنة يدخلني الضعفاء والمساكين فقال الله عز وجل للنار أنت عذابي أنتقم بك ممن شئت وقال للجنة أنت رحمتي أرحم بك من شئت
Its isnad is sahih, on account of the previous one. Muslim reported it, 4/2186, no. 2846, in the Book of Paradise, "The tyrants enter the Fire." Tirmidhi also reported it, 4/694, no. 2561, in the Book of the Description of Paradise, chapter "What Has Been Related About the Argument of Paradise and the Fire," and he said, hasan sahih.
