The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever wishes to recite the Quran fresh," meaning as it was revealed, "let him recite it according to the recitation of Ibn Umm Abd."
حدثنا وكيع عن جرير بن أيوب عن أبي زرعة
قال رسول الله ﷺ من أحب أن يقرأ القرآن غريضا كذا قال كما أنزل فليقرأه على قراءة ابن أم عبد
Its chain is daif because of Jareer bin Ayub Bajali, and Abu Zura is his grandfather. Bukhari and Abu Hatim said of him, "He narrates unrecognized hadiths." The hadith itself is sahih, narrated by Ibn Majah from Ibn Masud, 1/49, no. 138, through a sahih route, and by Hakim, 2/227, where he passed over it in silence, and in 3/318 he graded it sahih, and Dhahabi agreed with him.
