The meaning is that the Prophet ﷺ saw Hasan bin Ali take a date from the dates of charity and chew it in his mouth, so the Prophet ﷺ said, "Yuck, yuck! Charity is not lawful for us."
حدثنا وكيع حدثنا شعبة عن محمد بن زياد عن أبي هريرة وعبد الرحمن عن شعبة عن محمد بن زياد قال سمعت
المعنى أن النبي ﷺ رأى الحسن بن علي أخذ تمرة من تمر الصدقة فلاكها في فيه فقال النبي ﷺ كخ كخ فإنا لا تحل لنا الصدقة
