Abu Hurairah reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A time will surely come upon people when the best among them will be like a man who takes hold of his horse's reins in the cause of Allah. Whenever he hears an alarm, he mounts its back and seeks death wherever it is likely to be found. And a man in one of these mountain passes who establishes the prayer, gives the zakat, and leaves people alone except for what is good."

حدثنا وكيع قال حدثنا أسامة بن زيد عن بعجة بن عبد الله الجهني

عن أبي هريرة قال

قال رسول الله ﷺ ليأتين على الناس زمان يكون أفضل الناس فيه بمنزلة رجل أخذ بعنان فرسه في سبيل الله كلما سمع بهيعة استوى على متنه ثم طلب الموت مظانه ورجل في شعب من هذه الشعاب يقيم الصلاة ويؤتي الزكاة ويدع الناس إلا من خير
