Ali bin Abu Talib reported,

Ali called for a jug of water, then said, "Where are those who claim that drinking while standing is disliked?"He then took it and drank while standing. After that, he performed a light ablution and wiped over his sandals, then said, "This is how the Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed ablution for one who is in a state of purity, as long as he has not broken it."

عن علي رضي الله عنه

أنه دعا بكوز من ماء ثم قال أين هؤلاء الذين يزعمون أنهم يكرهون الشرب قائما قال فأخذه فشرب وهو قائم ثم توضأ وضوءا خفيفا ومسح على نعليه ثم قال هكذا وضوء رسول الله ﷺ للطاهر ما لم يحدث
