Abu Hurairah reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever dwells in the desert becomes harsh, whoever pursues game becomes heedless, and whoever frequents the doors of the ruler falls into temptation. A servant draws no closer to the ruler except that he grows further from Allah ."

حدثنا يعلى ومحمد ابنا عبيد قالا حدثنا الحسن بن الحكم عن عدي بن ثابت عن شيخ من الأنصار

عن أبي هريرة قال

قال رسول الله ﷺ من بدا جفا ومن تبع الصيد غفل ومن أتى أبواب السلطان افتتن وما ازداد عبد من السلطان قربا إلا ازداد من الله عز وجل بعدا
