A man said, "Messenger of Allah, a certain woman is renowned for the abundance of her prayer, fasting, and charity, except that she harms her neighbors with her tongue."He replied, "She is in the Fire."The man said, "Messenger of Allah, another woman is known for the scarcity of her fasting, charity, and prayer, but she gives away small pieces of curdled milk in charity and does not harm her neighbors with her tongue."He replied, "She is in Paradise."
قال حدثنا أبو أسامة قال أخبرني الأعمش عن أبي يحيى مولى جعدة
قال رجل يا رسول الله إن فلانة يذكر من كثرة صلاتها وصيامها وصدقتها غير أنها تؤذي جيرانها بلسانها قال هي في النار قال يا رسول الله فإن فلانة يذكر من قلة صيامها وصدقتها وصلاتها وإنها تصدق بالأثوار من الأقط ولا تؤذي جيرانها بلسانها قال هي في الجنة
