The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When a man calls his wife to his bed and she refuses, and he spends the night angry with her, the angels curse her until morning."Waki added, "while he remains displeased with her."
حدثنا ابن نمير قال حدثنا الأعمش ووكيع قال حدثنا الأعمش عن أبي حازم الأشجعي
قال رسول الله ﷺ إذا دعا الرجل امرأته إلى فراشه فأبت عليه فبات وهو غضبان لعنتها الملائكة حتى يصبح قال وكيع عليها ساخط
Its chain of transmission is sahih. Bukhari related it, 7/390, in the Book of Marriage, "If a woman spends the night avoiding her husband's bed." Muslim related it, 2/1060, no. 1436, in the Book of Marriage, "The prohibition of her refusing her husband's bed." And Abu Dawud related it, 2/244, no. 2141, in the Book of Marriage, "The right of the husband over the wife."
