He reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The prophets are brothers by the same father but different mothers. Their religion is one, though their mothers are many. I am the nearest of all people to Isa the son of Maryam, because there was no prophet between him and me. He is going to descend, and when you see him you will recognize him. He is a man of medium build, of a reddish-white complexion, with straight hair, and his head will appear to be dripping though no moisture has touched it. He will be wearing two lightly dyed garments. He will break the cross, kill the swine, abolish the jizya, and put an end to the false creeds, until Allah destroys in his time every creed except Islam. In his time Allah will destroy the lying Messiah, the Dajjal. Security will settle upon the earth, so that camels will graze alongside lions, leopards alongside cattle, and wolves alongside sheep, and children and boys will play with snakes without any of them harming the other. He will remain as long as Allah wills him to remain, then he will die, and the Muslims will pray over him and bury him."
