The Prophet ﷺ said, "The prophets are brothers from one father by different mothers. Their religion is one, though their mothers differ. I am the closest of people to Isa, son of Maryam, for there has been no prophet between him and me. He will descend, so when you see him, recognize him. He is a man of medium build, with a complexion between reddish and white, with straight hair as if his head were dripping water, though no moisture has touched it. He will be wearing two yellowish garments. He will break the cross, kill the swine, abolish the jizyah, and put an end to all religions. Allah will destroy in his time every religion except Islam, and Allah will destroy in his time the false Messiah, the Dajjal. Security will spread throughout the earth, so that camels will graze together with lions, leopards with cattle, and wolves with sheep. Children and young boys will play with snakes without any harm coming to one another. He will remain as long as Allah wills him to remain, then he will die. The Muslims will pray over him and bury him."
حدثنا يحيى عن ابن أبي عروبة قال حدثنا قتادة عن عبد الرحمن بن آدم
عن النبي ﷺ قال الأنبياء إخوة لعلات دينهم واحد وأمهاتهم شتى وأنا أولى الناس بعيسى ابن مريم لأنه لم يكن بيني وبينه نبي وإنه نازل فإذا رأيتموه فاعرفوه فإنه رجل مربوع إلى الحمرة والبياض سبط كأن رأسه يقطر وإن لم يصبه بلل بين ممصرتين فيكسر الصليب ويقتل الخنزير ويضع الجزية ويعطل الملل حتى يهلك الله في زمانه الملل كلها غير الإسلام ويهلك الله في زمانه المسيح الدجال الكذاب وتقع الأمنة في الأرض حتى ترتع الإبل مع الأسد جميعا والنمور مع البقر والذئاب مع الغنم ويلعب الصبيان والغلمان بالحيات لا يضر بعضهم بعضا فيمكث ما شاء الله أن يمكث ثم يتوفى فيصلي عليه المسلمون ويدفنونه
