He heard directly from the mouth of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "The caller to prayer is forgiven to the extent of his voice's reach, and every moist and dry thing bears witness for him. The one who attends the prayer has twenty-five good deeds recorded for him, and what is between the two prayers is expiated for him."
حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد عن شعبة قال حدثني موسى بن أبي عثمان قال حدثني أبو يحيى مولى جعدة قال سمعت
أنه سمع من فم رسول الله ﷺ يقول المؤذن يغفر له مد صوته ويشهد له كل رطب ويابس وشاهد الصلاة يكتب له خمس وعشرون حسنة ويكفر عنه ما بينهما
