The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Leave me as I have left you. Those before you were destroyed only because of their excessive questioning of their prophets and their disagreements with them. So when I forbid you from something, abstain from it, and when I command you to do something, do as much of it as you are able."
Its isnad is sahih. Bukhari reported it 9/117, in the book of Holding Fast, on following the sunnahs of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and Muslim 2/975, no. 1337, in the book of Hajj, on Hajj being obligatory only once, and Nasai 5/110, no. 2619, in the book of Hajj, on the obligation of Hajj, all of them with similar wording.
