The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is no man who takes from what Allah and His Messenger have decreed a word, or two, or three, or four, or five, and places them in the corner of his cloak, then acts upon them and teaches them to others..."I said, "I will," and I spread out my garment. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ kept speaking until he finished his discourse, then I gathered my garment to my chest. I hope that I have not forgotten a single hadith I heard from him.
حدثنا إسماعيل عن يونس عن الحسن
قال رسول الله ﷺ ما من رجل يأخذ مما قضى الله ورسوله كلمة أو ثنتين أو ثلاثا أو أربعا أو خمسا فيجعلهن في طرف ردائه فيعمل بهن ويعلمهن قلت أنا وبسطت ثوبي وجعل رسول الله ﷺ يحدث حتى انقضى حديثه فضممت ثوبي إلى صدري فأنا أرجو أن أكون لم أنس حديثا سمعته منه
