The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade that a woman be married to a man who is already married to her paternal aunt, or that a paternal aunt be married to a man already married to her niece, or that a woman be married to a man already married to her maternal aunt, or that a maternal aunt be married to a man already married to her niece. The elder is not to be married over the younger, nor the younger over the elder.

أن رسول الله ﷺ نهى أن تنكح المرأة على عمتها والعمة على بنت أخيها والمرأة على خالتها والخالة على بنت أختها لا تنكح الكبرى على الصغرى ولا الصغرى على الكبرى
