The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever performs wudu on Friday and does it well, then comes to the Friday prayer, draws near, listens silently, and pays attention, will be forgiven for what is between that Friday and the next, plus three additional days. And whoever touches the pebbles has engaged in idle activity."
حدثنا أبو معاوية حدثنا الأعمش عن أبي صالح
قال رسول الله ﷺ من توضأ يوم الجمعة فأحسن الوضوء ثم أتى الجمعة فدنا وأنصت واستمع غفر له ما بينه وبين الجمعة وزيادة ثلاثة أيام قال ومن مس الحصى فقد لغا
Its isnad is sahih. Abu Muawiya is al-Dareer, Muhammad bin Khazim, who is particularly reliable regarding Amash, and Abu Hazim is al-Ashjai, Salman al-Kufi, whose hadith is accepted by all the compilers.Muslim narrated the hadith in 2/588, no. 857, in the Book of Friday Prayer, on the merit of one who listens attentively. Darimi narrated it in 1/182, Ibn Hibban in 567, and Ibn Abu Shaybah in 2/97, in the Book of Friday Prayer, on the bathing for Friday.
