The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah does not send down a blessing from the sky without many people becoming disbelievers because of it. Allah sends down the rain, and they say, 'It is due to such and such a star.'"
حدثنا هارون قال حدثنا ابن وهب قال حدثنا عمرو بن الحارث أن أبا يونس مولى أبي هريرة حدثه
عن رسول الله ﷺ أنه قال ما أنزل الله عز وجل من السماء بركة إلا أصبح كثير من الناس بها كافرين ينزل الله عز وجل الغيث فيقولون بكوكب كذا وكذا
Its chain of transmission is sahih. Muslim narrated it, 1/84, no. 72m, in the Book of Faith, chapter on the disbelief of one who says, "We were given rain by the star."
