The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade eating every predatory animal with fangs.
حدثنا قتيبة حدثنا عبد العزيز بن محمد عن محمد بن عمرو عن أبي سلمة
أن رسول الله ﷺ حرم كل ذي ناب من السباع
Its isnad is sahih. It was also reported by Tirmidhi 4/74, no. 1477, who said, "Hasan," and Ibn Abu Shayba 5/399, in the chapter on hunting, what is forbidden to eat of birds and predators, and Hakim 2/40, who graded it sahih, and Dhahabi agreed with him.
