The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The noble son of the noble son of the noble son of the noble is Yusuf, son of Yaqub, son of Ishaq, son of Ibrahim, may Allah's blessings be upon them all."
حدثنا عفان حدثنا حماد بن سلمة عن محمد بن عمرو عن أبي سلمة
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال إن الكريم ابن الكريم ابن الكريم ابن الكريم يوسف بن يعقوب بن إسحق بن إبراهيم صلى الله عليهم أجمعين
Its isnad is sahih. Bukhari related it, 4/224, in the chapter on the beginning of creation, on tracing one's lineage to one's forefathers, and Tirmidhi, 5/293, no. 3116, in the tafsir of Surah Yusuf, and Hakim related something similar and graded it sahih, 2/346-347, and Dhahabi agreed with him.
