The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I have been favored over the prophets in six ways."Someone asked, "What are they, Messenger of Allah?"He replied, "I have been given comprehensive and concise speech, I have been aided by awe cast into hearts, spoils of war have been made lawful for me, the earth has been made for me a masjid and a means of purification, I have been sent to all creation, and the line of prophets has been sealed with me."My likeness and the likeness of the prophets, may Allah's blessings and peace be upon them, is that of a man who built a palace. He completed its construction and made it beautiful, except for the space of a single brick. People looked at the palace and said, 'How beautiful this palace would be, if only this one brick were put in place.' So I am that brick. I am that brick."
وبهذا الإسناد قال قال رسول الله ﷺ فضلت على الأنبياء بست قيل ما هن أي رسول الله قال أعطيت جوامع الكلم ونصرت بالرعب وأحلت لي الغنائم وجعلت لي الأرض مسجدا وطهورا وأرسلت إلى الخلق كافة وختم بي النبيون مثلي ومثل الأنبياء عليهم الصلاة والسلام كمثل رجل بنى قصرا فأكمل بناءه وأحسن بنيانه إلا موضع لبنة فنظر الناس إلى القصر فقالوا ما أحسن بنيان هذا القصر لو تمت هذه اللبنة ألا فكنت أنا اللبنة ألا فكنت أنا اللبنة
