He said that the Prophet ﷺ was traveling along the road to Makkah when he came upon a place called Jumdan. He said, "This is Jumdan. Travel on. The mufarridun have gone ahead."They asked, "Who are the mufarridun?"He replied, "Those who remember Allah much."Then he said, "Allah, forgive those who shave their heads."They said, "And those who shorten their hair?"He said, "Allah, forgive those who shave their heads."They said again, "And those who shorten their hair?"He said, "And those who shorten their hair."
حدثنا عفان قال حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن إبراهيم عن العلاء عن أبيه
قال كان النبي ﷺ يسير في طريق مكة فأتى على جمدان فقال هذا جمدان سيروا سبق المفردون قالوا وما المفردون قال الذاكرون الله كثيرا ثم قال اللهم اغفر للمحلقين قالوا والمقصرين قال اللهم اغفر للمحلقين قالوا والمقصرين قال والمقصرين
