The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When the servant of one of you brings him his food, if he does not seat him with him, let him hand him a mouthful or two, or a morsel or two." Shuba was uncertain about the wording. "For he is the one who endured its preparation and its heat."

قال رسول الله ﷺ إذا جاء أحدكم خادمه بطعام فإن لم يجلسه معه فليناوله أكلة أو أكلتين أو لقمة أو لقمتين شعبة شك فإنه ولي علاجه وحره
