The Prophet ﷺ said, according to what Hammad believed he heard, that a man used to sell wine on a ship, and he had a monkey with him on board. The man would mix the wine with water. The monkey took his money pouch, climbed up to the top of the deck, opened the pouch, and began taking out the coins. He would toss one Dinar onto the ship and one Dinar into the sea, until he had divided them into two equal halves.
حدثنا عفان حدثنا حماد بن سلمة قال أخبرنا إسحاق بن عبد الله بن أبي طلحة عن أبي صالح
عن النبي ﷺ فيما يحسب حماد أن رجلا كان يبيع الخمر في سفينة ومعه في السفينة قرد فكان يشوب الخمر بالماء قال فأخذ القرد الكيس ثم صعد به فوق الدور وفتح الكيس فجعل يأخذ دينارا فيلقه في السفينة ودينارا في البحر حتى جعله نصفين
