We had no food during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ except the two black things, dates and water.
حدثنا عفان حدثنا شعبة قال داود بن فراهيج أخبرني قال سمعت
ما كان لنا طعام على عهد رسول الله ﷺ إلا الأسودان التمر والماء
Its isnad is sahih, and Dawud bin Farahij Madani is trustworthy, and the hadith has been previously mentioned at 9221.
