The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The best day on which the sun has risen is Friday. On it Adam was created, on it he was admitted into Paradise, and on it he was expelled from it."
حدثنا علي بن إسحاق قال أخبرنا عبد الله أخبرني يونس عن الزهري أخبرني عبد الرحمن الأعرج أنه
قال رسول الله ﷺ خير يوم طلعت فيه الشمس يوم الجمعة فيه خلق آدم وفيه أدخل الجنة وفيه أخرج منها
Its chain of transmission is sahih. Muslim reported it, 1/580, no. 854, in the chapter on Friday, the virtue of the day of Friday. Abu Dawud reported similarly, 1/274, no. 1046, as did Tirmidhi, 2/360, no. 491, in the chapter on prayer, what has been said about the hour hoped for on Friday, and he said it is hasan sahih. Nasai reported it, 3/90 and 114, no. 1373, and Hakim, 1/278, and graded it sahih.
