The Quran used to be presented to the Prophet ﷺ once every year, but in the year of his death it was presented to him twice.
حدثنا يحيى بن إسحاق أخبرني أبو بكر يعني ابن عياش قال حدثنا أبو حصين عن أبي صالح
كان يعرض على النبي ﷺ القرآن في كل سنة مرة فلما كان العام الذي قبض فيه عرض عليه مرتين
Its isnad is sahih. Bukhari related it, 6/628 Fath, in the Book of Virtues, Signs of Prophethood, and Muslim, 4/1904, no. 2450, in the Virtues of the Companions, Virtues of Fatimah, and Ibn Majah in the Book of Funerals, What Has Been Said Concerning the Mention of the Illness of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, 1/518, no. 1621.
