Its isnad is sahih. Hasan bin Uqbah Abu Kibran, Bukhari gave him an entry in Tarikh al-Kabir 1/2/299, saying, "Hasan bin Uqbah Abu Kibran Muradi, he heard from Dahhak bin Muzahim, and Ubaydullah bin Musa and Abu Naeem heard from him." Dulabi mentioned him in Kuna 2:90, saying, "I heard Abbas bin Muhammad say, I heard Yahya bin Main say, Abu Kibran's name is Hasan bin Uqbah Muradi, and he is trustworthy." Ibn Saad mentioned him in Tabaqat 6:250 without a biographical entry. Beyond that I found no biographical entry or mention of him, so Hafiz did not give him an entry in Tajil, and this is something that should be added to it.Kibran is recorded with a "b" (ba) in all three copies of the Musnad. The "kaf" was marked with a kasra in the pen of copy K, and its copyist wrote in the margin, in his own pen, a "b" (ba) after the "kaf," and it was likewise written in Ibn Saad. But in Tarikh al-Kabir and Kuna it is written unvoweled as Kiran, with a "y" (ya). We have therefore given preference to what is established in the Musnad and the Tabaqat. The hadith appears abridged as no. 910. It will also come again as no. 1007, narrated by Imam Ahmad from Waki from Hasan bin Uqbah.
