The Prophet ﷺ said, "The false messiah, Dajjal, will come from the direction of the east, with his aim set on Madinah, until he halts in the environs of Uhud. Then the angels will turn his face toward Syria, and there he will perish."Abdullah said, "This is how my father related it in these hadiths."
وبهذا الإسناد أن النبي ﷺ قال يأتي المسيح الدجال من قبل المشرق وهمته المدينة حتى ينزل دائر أحد ثم تصرف الملائكة وجهه قبل الشام وهنالك يهلك قال عبد الله كذا قال أبي في هذه الأحاديث
Its chain of transmission is sahih. It is found in Muslim, 2/1005, no. 1380, in the book of Hajj, on the protection of Madinah from Dajjal, and in Tirmidhi, 4/515, no. 2242, in the book of tribulations, on what has been mentioned about Dajjal, where he graded it sahih, and in similar wording in Bukhari, in two places, 3/28 and 9/76.
