Abu Hurairah reported,

The Prophet ﷺ said, "Once, among the people who lived before you, a woman was nursing her infant son when a proud horseman passed by, dressed in fine attire. The woman said, 'O Allah, do not let my son die until he becomes like this horseman, mounted on a horse like his.'The child let go of the breast, looked up, and said, 'O Allah, do not make me like this horseman.' Then he returned to nursing.Later, they passed by the corpse of an Abyssinian or Zanji woman being dragged along. The mother said, 'I seek refuge with Allah for my son from dying the death of this Abyssinian, or Zanji, woman.'The child again let go of the breast and said, 'O Allah, let me die the death of this Abyssinian, or Zanji, woman.'His mother said, 'My son, I asked your Lord to make you like that horseman, but you said, O Allah, do not make me like him. Then I asked your Lord not to let you die the death of this Abyssinian, or Zanji, woman, but you asked your Lord to let you die her death.'The child replied, 'You prayed for your Lord to make me like a man who is among the people of the Fire. As for the Abyssinian, or Zanji, woman, her people used to insult her, beat her, and wrong her, and she would say, Allah is sufficient for me, Allah is sufficient for me.'"

عن أبي هريرة

عن النبي ﷺ قال بينما امرأة فيمن كان قبلكم ترضع ابنا لها إذ مر بها فارس متكبر عليه شارة حسنة فقالت المرأة اللهم لا تمت ابني هذا حتى أراه مثل هذا الفارس على مثل هذا الفرس قال فترك الصبي الثدي ثم قال اللهم لا تجعلني مثل هذا الفارس قال ثم عاد إلى الثدي يرضع ثم مروا بجيفة حبشية أو زنجية تجر فقالت أعيذ ابني بالله أن يموت ميتة هذه الحبشية أو الزنجية فترك الثدي وقال اللهم أمتني ميتة هذه الحبشية أو الزنجية فقالت أمه يا بني سألت ربك أن يجعلك مثل ذلك الفارس فقلت اللهم لا تجعلني مثله وسألت ربك ألا يميتك ميتة هذه الحبشية أو الزنجية فسألت ربك أن يميتك ميتتها قال فقال الصبي إنك دعوت ربك أن يجعلني مثل رجل من أهل النار وإن الحبشية أو الزنجية كان أهلها يسبونها ويضربونها ويظلمونها فتقول حسبي الله حسبي الله
