The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not hate one another, do not envy one another, do not artificially inflate prices against one another, and do not turn your backs on one another. Be servants of Allah, brothers to each other.A town-dweller must not sell on behalf of a desert-dweller. Do not intercept caravans to buy their goods before they reach the market. Whoever buys a sheep and finds that its udder has been bound to retain milk, let him return it along with a measure of dates.None of you should make an offer over the offer of his brother, nor propose marriage over the proposal of his brother. A woman must not ask for the divorce of her sister so as to empty her vessel, for her provision is with Allah ."
