The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever takes a hand-span of land unjustly will have it placed around his neck like a collar from the seven earths."
حدثنا عفان حدثنا أبو عوانة عن عمر بن أبي سلمة عن أبيه
عن النبي ﷺ قال من أخذ من الأرض شبرا بغير حقه طوقه من سبع أرضين
Its isnad is sahih. It was mentioned previously at 1633, and Bukhari narrated something similar in 5/103, number 2454 (Fath), in the chapter on injustices, the sin of one who wrongfully seizes land, and Munziri attributed it to Ahmad and graded it sahih, 10/3.
