Abu Hurairah reported that the Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever prays over a funeral receives one qirat of reward, and whoever prays over it and follows it to burial receives two qirats."Abdullah bin Umar said to him, "Be careful what you narrate, Abu Hurairah, for you transmit a great many hadiths from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ."So Abu Hurairah took him by the hand and led him to Ayesha, who confirmed what Abu Hurairah had said.Abu Hurairah then said, "By Allah, Abu Abdul-Rahman, no bargaining in the marketplaces ever distracted me from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Nothing concerned me regarding the Messenger of Allah ﷺ except a word he would teach me or a morsel he would feed me."
