The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Faith is Yemeni, understanding is Yemeni, and wisdom is Yemeni. The people of Yemen have come to you. They are the most tender-hearted and gentlest in spirit. Disbelief lies toward the East. Pride and arrogance are found among the owners of horses and camels, the loud-voiced bedouins of the tents, while tranquility is found among the keepers of sheep."

قال رسول الله ﷺ الإيمان يمان والفقه يمان والحكمة يمانية أتاكم أهل اليمن فهم أرق أفئدة وألين قلوبا والكفر قبل المشرق والفخر والخيلاء في أهل الخيل والإبل والفدادين أهل الوبر والسكينة في أهل الغنم
