The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stopped before a group of people who were sitting and said, "Shall I tell you who among you is the best and who is the worst?"They remained silent. He repeated it three times.Then a man said, "Prophet of Allah, tell us who among us is the best and who is the worst."He said, "The best of you is the one whose good is hoped for and whose harm is not feared, and the worst of you is the one whose good is not hoped for and whose harm is not safe from."
قال أبي وبهذا الإسناد أن رسول الله ﷺ وقف على ناس جلوس فقال ألا أخبركم بخيركم من شركم قال فسكتوا فقال ذلك ثلاث مرات فقال رجل يا نبي الله أخبرنا بخيرنا من شرنا قال خيركم من يرجى خيره ويؤمن شره وشركم من لا يرجى خيره ولا يؤمن شره
