The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I was about to order my young men to gather firewood, then command a man to lead the people in prayer, and then go to the homes of Some men who stay away from the prayer and burn their houses down upon them. By Allah, if any one of them knew that he would find a fat bone or two good sheep's hooves by attending the prayer, he would attend it. And if they knew what reward lies in it, they would come to it even if they had to crawl."
حدثنا أبو سعد حدثنا محمد بن عجلان عن أبيه
قال رسول الله ﷺ لقد هممت أن آمر فتياني فيجمعوا حطبا ثم آمر رجلا يؤم الناس ثم أخالف إلى رجال يتخلفون عن الصلاة فأحرق عليهم بيوتهم وايم الله لو يعلم أحدهم أن له بشهودها عرقا سمينا أو مرماتين لشهدها ولو يعلمون ما فيها لأتوها ولو حبوا
