Its isnad is sahih. Ishaq bin Ibrahim al-Razi is the son-in-law of Salama bin Fadl. Abu Hatim said, "I heard Yahya bin Main praise him well."Salama bin Fadl is al-Abrash, the judge of Rayy. Bukhari said in al-Saghir, "Ali said, 'His hadith might be relied upon before he left Rayy,' and Ishaq bin Ibrahim graded him daif, but Ibn Main deemed him trustworthy." He said, "He is trustworthy, we wrote from him, his books from Muawiya were the most complete, there is no book more complete than his." He also said, "I heard Jarir say, 'From Baghdad all the way to Khurasan, there is no one more reliable regarding Ibn Ishaq than Salama.'"Abu Dawud also deemed him trustworthy, and we favor the view of those who deemed him trustworthy.
