The Prophet ﷺ said, "Faith is Yemeni, and disbelief lies toward the East. Tranquility is found among the people of sheep, while pride and showing off are found among those who shout at their cattle and horses, and among the people of camel-hair tents."
حدثنا سليمان حدثنا إسماعيل أخبرني العلاء عن أبيه
أن النبي ﷺ قال الإيمان يمان والكفر قبل المشرق والسكينة في أهل الغنم والفخر والرياء في الفدادين والخيل والوبر
Its isnad is sahih. It is found in all six books with similar wording. Bukhari related it in 5/219, in the Book of Campaigns, chapter on the arrival of the Ashariyyin, Muslim in 1/72, number 52, in the Book of Faith, chapter on forbidding wrongdoing, and Tirmidhi in the Book of Tribulations, chapter on what has been said about Dajjal, 4/515, number 2243, where he said, hasan sahih.
