The Prophet ﷺ asked, "Do you know who the bankrupt person is?"They replied, "Among us, the bankrupt is one who has neither money nor possessions."He said, "The bankrupt of my nation is one who comes on the Day of Resurrection with prayer, fasting, and charity, but he comes having insulted this person, slandered that one, consumed the wealth of another, shed the blood of yet another, and struck someone else. So this one is given from his good deeds, and that one is given from his good deeds. If his good deeds run out before his debts are settled, then their sins are taken and cast upon him, and he is thrown into the Fire."
حدثنا سليمان قال حدثنا إسماعيل قال أخبرني العلاء عن أبيه
عن النبي ﷺ قال تدرون من المفلس قالوا المفلس فينا من لا درهم له ولا متاع قال إن المفلس من أمتي يأتي يوم القيامة بصلاة وصيام وزكاة ويأتي قد شتم هذا وقذف هذا وأكل مال هذا وسفك دم هذا وضرب هذا فيقضى هذا من حسناته وهذا من حسناته فإن فنيت حسناته قبل أن يقضي ما عليه أخذ من خطاياهم فطرحت عليه ثم طرح في النار
