The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever lives in the desert becomes harsh, whoever chases game becomes heedless, and whoever frequents the doors of the ruler falls into trial. No servant draws nearer to the ruler except that he grows farther from Allah."
حدثنا محمد قال حدثنا إسماعيل بن زكريا عن الحسن بن الحكم النخعي عن عدي بن ثابت عن أبي حازم
قال رسول الله ﷺ من بدا جفا ومن اتبع الصيد غفل ومن أتى أبواب السلطان افتتن وما ازداد عبد من السلطان قربا إلا ازداد من الله بعدا
