The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Kingship belongs to Quraysh, judgeship to the Ansar, the call to prayer to the Abyssinians, and swiftness to the people of Yemen."Zayd once said, preserving the wording, "And trustworthiness to the Azd."
حدثنا زيد بن الحباب حدثنا معاوية بن صالح قال حدثني أبو مريم أنه
قال رسول الله ﷺ الملك في قريش والقضاء في الأنصار والأذان في الحبشة والسرعة في اليمن وقال زيد مرة يحفظه والأمانة في الأزد
Its chain of transmission is sahih. Tirmidhi narrated it from Abu Hurairah, and Suyuti indicated in Jami Saghir that it is a sahih hadith.
