The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Bring me water for ablution."So I brought him water. He cleansed himself, then put his hand into the dirt and rubbed it, then washed it. Then he performed ablution and wiped over his leather socks.I said, "Messenger of Allah, you did not wash your feet."He replied, "I put them in while they were pure."
حدثنا محمد بن عبد الله بن الزبير حدثنا أبان يعني ابن عبد الله البجلي حدثني مولى لأبي هريرة قال سمعت
قال رسول الله ﷺ وضئني فأتيته بوضوء فاستنجى ثم أدخل يده في التراب فمسحها ثم غسلها ثم توضأ ومسح على خفيه فقلت يا رسول الله رجلاك لم تغسلهما قال إني أدخلتهما وهما طاهرتان
