The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When one of you makes a wish, let him consider carefully what he wishes for, since he does not know what portion of his wish will be written for him."
حدثنا إسحاق حدثني أبو عوانة عن عمر بن أبي سلمة عن أبيه
قال رسول الله ﷺ إذا تمنى أحدكم فلينظر ما يتمنى فإنه لا يدري ما يكتب له من أمنيته
