Abu Hurairah reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever Allah grants wealth and does not pay its zakat, his wealth will be made to appear before him on the Day of Resurrection as a bald serpent with two black spots above its eyes. It will seize him by the corners of his mouth on the Day of Resurrection and say, 'I am your wealth, I am your treasure.'"Then he recited this verse, "Let not those who are stingy with what Allah has given them of His bounty think it is good for them" [Aal Imran 3:180], to the end of the verse.
