Fatimah came to Abu Bakr and Umar seeking her inheritance from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. They said to her, "We heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'I leave no inheritance.'"
حدثنا عبد الوهاب الخفاف حدثنا محمد بن عمرو عن أبي سلمة
أن فاطمة جاءت أبا بكر وعمر تطلب ميراثها من رسول الله ﷺ فقالا لها سمعنا رسول الله ﷺ يقول إني لا أورث
Muhammad bin Amr bin Alqama bin Waqqas Laythi narrated from his father and from Abu Salama, and Shuba, Malik, and Muhammad Ansari narrated from him. Abu Hatim said, "His hadith is written down." Nasai and others said, "There is no harm in him." He died in the year 144.Dhahabi said about him in al-Mizan, "A well-known shaykh, hasan in his hadith." Then he said, "Ibn Adi said, Malik narrated from him in Muwatta and others did too, and I hope that there is no harm in him."
