The Prophet ﷺ said, "Every soul has charity prescribed for it each day that the sun rises. Part of that is judging fairly between two people, which is charity. Helping a man with his mount by lifting him onto it is charity, and loading his baggage onto it is charity. Removing what is harmful from the road is charity. A kind word is charity. And every step you take toward the prayer is charity."
Its isnad is sahih, and Bukhari and Muslim narrated it with this wording, "Every joint of a person is due charity. On every day the sun rises, judging fairly between two people is charity, helping a man with his mount by lifting him onto it or lifting his belongings onto it is charity, a good word is charity, every step you take toward prayer is charity, and removing something harmful from the road is charity."
